• Series of locations must be seperated in different locations, as much as there are locations. We do not accept series of images of different locations under one location-heading.
  • each location can contain different images.
  • the images you upload must be location-images. The uploading of castings, animals, family pictures, logos, announcements or any other images that we can clearly identify as NOT being locations will result in immediate locking of your account.
  • the images you upload must be images of great quality : frame, colour and subject must add to a clear view of the location.
  • the images you upload must be minimum 72ppi (72 pixels per inch) and must be at least 550pixels high. Images with these parameters weigh +/- 120K, more is always better. The images you make with a simple digital camera are ready for uploading, no extra compression is needed. When you display the images on your computer screen, you should see a sharp image and no pixels (little blocks in the image) on 100% display.
  • you must be the owner or keeper of the copyright of the image
  • logos or text in the images are accepted but subject to strict rules. Read our use-of-logos policy

  • logos disturb the searchers eye.
  • we want to give all professionals in the network the same chances to be taken for the job : there are no big ones, no small ones, all are location professionals. There are less websavvy location people who don't know how to put a logo on the image and we don't want them to be lost...
  • the images on Locamundo.com are of such a low quality that they cannot be used for something else than Locamundo.com. If people want to steal images or locations, they will do it anyway. But important is that we always know who abuses because people leave their log...
  • we accept digital watermarks. In normal conditions they will survive the Locamundo.Compression during uploading to our server

  • BEWARE : that using logos in the images may locate the location : when people see your images, they might have a clear indication where this location is situated. Eventualy they can shoot there whithout you, send their own scout, etc...
  • The logo may not cover more than 5% of the entire image. This means you can add a line of text or place a discrete logo in a corner of the image.
  • Logos that cover the entire image (even in watermark) will not be tolerated.
